Vikings Hold Off Cardinals with a One-Point Squeaker. Sam Darnold Channels Inner Houdini in a Comeback Win!
In what can only be compared to watching a tightrope walker who forgot their balance pole but still somehow sticks the landing, the Minnesota Vikings eked out a nail-biting 23-22 win against the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals, despite looking like the cast of an injury list, managed to move the ball effectively behind quarterback Kyler Murray. Unfortunately for them, their melody ended too often in field goal falsettos, courtesy of the Vikings' defense, which was stingier than a dad with the TV remote. Meanwhile, the Vikings' offense started slower than a sloth on a Sunday morning but kicked into gear when Sam Darnold decided it was time to summon his inner magician. He put on a second-half show filled with daggers and dime passes to clinch the win. On defense, Minnesota's timely interceptions were like surprise birthday punches - unexpected and not particularly welcome for Arizona.
