Bengals Root Cowboys in Prime Time. Burrow and Chase Dance into Victory.
It was Monday Night Football at its finest, with the Bengals squeezing out a 27-20 win over the Cowboys. CeeDee Lamb kicked things off like a gazelle on caffeine with a 44-yard screen play, making Bengals' defenders seem like they were auditioning for a new episode of Frozen. But not to be outdone, Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase decided to channel their inner dynamic duo vibe, hooking up for 177 yards and two touchdowns. It's as if they're the private message each other's playbooks. A huge momentum shift came courtesy of the Bengals' special teams, who blocked a punt so clean, it should have been in an infomercial. Cooper Rush tried to rally the Cowboys but ended up throwing an interception that could have doubled as a fully wrapped Christmas present to the Bengals, thanks to Geno Stone. The game wrapped up with Burrow and Chase once again connecting for their second act, a 40-yard touchdown, securing a sweet ending for Cincinnati. Meanwhile, Dallas continued their search for the season's lost opportunities, which may require a map and some breadcrumbs at this point.
